Even though the Jedi Council forbade Chanticleer from officially joining the Jedi Order, Anakin Skywalker took it upon himself to train Chanticleer in the ways of the Force, with Obi-Wan's tacit support. Anakin had witnessed Chanticleer use six Force powers without any formal training to defeat Disney's dreaded High School Musitron on Cartoonia, and he wasn't going to let Chanticleer's talent go to waste.

Anakin trained Chanticleer to hone his Force sense and use Force pushes, pulls, lifts, and jumps. After Chanticleer had demonstrated his proficiency in Force abilities, Anakin gave him Obi-Wan's old lightsaber, which Obi-Wan assumed to have been lost during the First Battle of Geonosis. Anakin then taught Chanticleer lightsaber combat, specifically Form V Djem So, which Chanticleer was well suited to with his muscular frame. Chanticleer even bested Ahsoka in a few sparring matches.

Now, Chanticleer uses his knowledge of the Force to lead Republic and Americartoon forces in battle against the vile Disney Corporation and its ally, the Separatists. Though primarily an artillery commander, he does periodically engage in frontline battles alongside Anakin and Ahsoka, using his lightsaber to cut his way through battle droids and Disney troops.
