A model I made for a good friend of mine, whom was experiencing some frustration with some Japanese video game, which was apparently based around air battleships. He complained of a lack of time period congruency and the fact that the game's protagonists were mass-murdering fuckheads.
So we had this funny conversation about practically floating battleships. I said it was not possible, and he said that they should be floated through the magic medium of 'Floaty-Gas' in giant zeppelin-style gasbags. This is the result of that conversation, so obviously it's not too realistic a design, more just built for fun and laughs about it being included in the game.
Armed with 12 x 16 inch guns mounted in four turrets, based on US Navy plans for a Montana Class battleship series which would be the successors to the Iowa class.

This in a day?
You sir, are fast. D:
Still, it's a magnificent piece of ship...
And I still can't get the things Japanese can cook up to support their logic and physics.
Actually, it's kinda how different they are in designing stories or worlds compared to the Western societies.
Eastern overall doesn't focus on world development as much as character/story development.
Western prefer a much more developed world/lore.
That's all that I noticed; I do notice more and more that people from both sides are seeking a balance of both.

Japanese game with mass murderers as protagonists? Doesn't shock me. Did the badguys wear cowboy hats?
Also I had one friend who thought an easy solution to the floating problem was to set the story in a place which has a more dense atmosphere, with heavier inert gases replacing nitrogen.
