Yeah the underlying power (root/5th) chords are suuuuuper simple, they're used all over in rock/metal! This progression is just E5 -> E5 -> C5 -> D5 | E5 ->E5 -> G5 -> A5 and the rest of the song is playing over that root in Em - the Paranoid power chords intro slides are also D5 into E5 so you're probably hearing that at the end of the progression there :>
