Halcom was born into a relatively comfortable but dull life. His struggling grades and inability to focus netted him low wage, dead end jobs. Barely scarping by, he became depressed and bitter, isolating himself from others. This changed when a stray monster attacked him during his break. Fully expecting to be killed, he was saved by a scout, who took a hit for him before he was evacuated to safety. Completely moved by someone he did not know selflessly taking a hit for him, and soon decided to begin training to become a scout. Five years later, he was now a scout, protecting the town he’s stationed at.

By his own admission, Halcom isn’t very bright, and can be slightly aggressive and quick to anger, making him come off as somewhat anti-social. He also has a very big heart and is always willing to help those in need.

Halcom makes use of tonfa’s in a fight, while he’s mostly self-taught through books and personal training, he’s surprisingly competent. The tonfa are larger than average, covering his arms up to slightly past his elbow, making them heavier, but very effective for defence. He’s not super athletic or agile but can stand his ground and deliver devastating blows.

He doesn’t like wearing shirts due to the spikes on his back, usually causing discomfort or even tearing more fragile shirts
His favourite food is boneless spicy fried chicken. His favourite drink is strawberry and cranberry fruit juice
