ZBrush4 came out today, and I gave it a quick spin. Apart from the few expected WTF moments that every pixologic release is bound to provide, it feels fairly good. They changed the mesh hiding gesture/routine for some unfathomable reason, so I'm gonna have to learn some new finger acrobatics.
One thing I like in particular is the skin/translucency shader (sss) and shader mixer together with the new renderer that handles objects directly (real shadows from rear lights, yay!).
The sculpture itself is totally unfinished, and I'm working on it whenever I have bits of time. I just thought the shader looked good :)
