Sebastian Jay, the leader of Team Union, started out as just a scientist under the employ of a woman named Bridget Hawthorne, the owner of a tech corporation known as Thorne Corp. Once Sebastian’s accident happened, leading to his discovery of the method to transform others into Pokemorphs, as well as the healing and rejuvenating aspects of the transformation itself, he had gone to Bridget about this, who in turn began to supply him with the resources and funding needed to start up Team Union.

Bridget and Sebastian have known each other for quite some years, back when the former was just a young girl before inheriting the business from her father. Sebastian was always willing to try and impart concepts of science and knowledge onto the young girl, as he enjoyed sharing things he found interesting.

Bridget herself was always the type of lady who valued results, often putting work first and having a habit of straining relationships with those around her. She strongly desired nothing more than to be able to leave behind a legacy, and wasn’t fond of the ever looming concept and reality of ‘growing old and withered’. She took immense interest in Sebastian’s discovery, and was more than willing to put in the resources and funding, especially in regards to collecting Pokemon samples, and the search for a specific sample.
