A very old statue of one of the principal deities of Martian mouse culture. Perhaps she had a name once, but to most, she is simply known as the Mother Goddess.
At the time of carving, this statue likely included antennae, but they were lost to the ages. Devotees, however, believe she never had any and will have their own removed. While extremely dangerous, surviving such a procedure is believed to indicate the Mother's favor. It was far more common in ages past and is now only done by the most dedicated religious followers, despite not being condoned by the Church of the mother for centuries.
This explains - in my universe - why the Churchmice - and only the Churchmice - in "Once Upon a Time on Mars" did not have antennae.

Oh this is really good, she looks like a true Goddess, and in bit of a way a mage or sage. Either way she is amazing and looks like a saint.
I like the idea that Martian Mice would cut off their antennae for religious or spiritual reasons, it would explain quite a lot in some parts of their culture.
