She is plain. She has no scales, which the dragons value highly of. No markings what so ever. Even her colors are bland, compared to some of the beautiful and brilliant colors of other dragons. Because of her dark pelt many think she is evil. Often she'll think to herself, "How can one who is thought to be evil, be beautiful?".
These thoughts often send her to a plain white space. Often she is plainly sitting in one spot. The same spot every time. Her companions are the two pink flowering trees that never die.
She'll look at herself in the water that's always rippling. Lost in what beauty really is..


"Beauty is reserved to those who accept their-self as beautiful, despite what others may think or say, my dear."


She took the words into her head.
She thought, "but how can someone so plain be beautiful? It just doesnt make sense.."

"You are not perfect, which makes you beautiful."
"Imperfection is beauty."

With that thought, it made sense. Once she accepted herself as beautiful because she was imperfect the water stopped rippling.

She peered into the water and smiled..


Crummy story go! I needed something to explain the title of the picture.
I dont know how I got inspiration for this. I was just sitting one day and poof! I got this idea. I worked on it for 4 days off and on. I normally get really impatient with pictures that take so long, but that wasnt the case. I can say that I am really proud of this.
The flowers were a pain. I had no clue how to shade them at all so I just tried something and it worked.
