well Bubble Tea is usually covered with a plastic foil and this is hard to break through - and also in the EU plastic straws are now banned which means we use alternatives... not always the best ones though XD

Plastic straws are almost banned here in the US too at this point. I personally have reusable silicone straws. I've been thinking of getting some metal ones.

yea I think stainless steel is the one too go in the future, as glass breaks too easily (as seen here in the picture)
