HELLO EVERYONE, this past month has been a hectic one, On July 2nd, I found a 6 week old little baby kitten in the middle of the road at night while driving home from work, I immediately pulled over and scooped her up. Freaked out, I took her to the vet. She had a very severe eye infection and it desperately needed to be treated. I took her in for the night and instantly fell in love with her. The next morning I went to the pet store and got stocked up on cat supplies, I've never owned a cat before but I wanted to give this poor girl everything she needed, after all, she had been living on the streets for her whole life so far. So to make it official I bought her a collar and license and named her "Amaya" it means "night rain" because right after I found her in the road that night, it started to rain. After her next vet visit the following day, Amaya got put on two medications and was told she would need to go back to the vet once her prescription was up. Initially her eye appeared to be healing up amazingly until July 19th, one day before she was due back at the vet again, her left eye ruptured and we had to rush her to the emergency vet. She got put on to four more medications to reduce the pain and infection, but now she needs much more frequent veterinary visits to ensure her eye doesn't get worse again, until she's big enough to have her eye surgically removed. The vet bills are piling up high, and since she's small for her age, it'll be a full month before she can have her eye removed. Right now all I want is to keep her happy and healthy as possible. But the surgery alone is going to be over $2,000, not even counting all the previous (and future) vet trips this poor baby has needed thus far. All I'm asking for is a little bit of help, even just a dollar or a share could help Amaya and I out a whole bunch. Thank you so much for considering!!!
