46 years old foreign literature teacher and retired actress, Lydia takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge about some of the finest works of literature to the young minds in her class. Kind and gentle, she will do her best to get the students interested in what she teaches, trying to break the boredom of the usual classes and organize it in different ways-on occasions she would make everyone sit in a circle and discuss certain parts of the book someone reads, and sometimes she will assign the roles to the students, trying to make them understand the characters better by acting as them. After finding out her old friends have died, leaving their children, Damian and Adrienne, in care of the rest of the family (who didnt really put much effort into taking care of them), she decided to take care of them herself, calling the rest of the family "Gruppa bezdushnyh ublyudkov" (Group of heartless bastards). With time she managed to get along with kids, who began to call her "aunt Lydia" and consider her their closest friend.
She speaks with a russian accent.
