So for the past few months, I have been working on a world concept, and for now, I label it as Crossroads. Before fleshing out any sort of story line, I am attempting to create the world first, trying to figure out who and what lives in it.

Breeder ants include the Queen and the males that mate with her. In both, they lack the fire tract and instead have a reproductive tract. Breeding males also have wings.

The basis of the world is this little guy here, the Fyre Ant. He's nothing more than an ant, aside from the fact that he lacks eyes and has a flaming ass. They live in large colonies, and essentially, there's two types living in the same colony: Fyre Ant ans Breeder Ants.

Fyre Ants are the Workers and Soldiers. The diagram represents their internal anatomy. The blue is their Nervous system, pink is Digestive, red is the Heart, and yellow is their Fire Tract. The ants consume a sticky liquid produced by a plant unique to the island they live on. From there, the liquid mixes with the giant sack located in their thorax. The ants are able to keep a constant fire going thanks to the abundance of the plant and because of their fellow ants.

There are also Fyre Flies, which are a greater fire source.
