This was actually submitted to a competition I believe while in my first year of photoshop. We had to try and create a picture where our bridge was part of a landscape shot (for example a rock formation that ended up being used to bridge one land mass to another without human interaction). Everyone else was doing quite well on their project, while I on the other hand was struggling greatly because I couldn't find a landscape image that would fit my given bridge. Therefore, on the last day it was due, I said "Screw it! I'll never find enough space to..." and it hit me, I'll put it in space and have it bridge my universe with another!

While I did not win first place (as this was a national competition and anyone could apply) mine was the favorite of the class and I got an A+ for originality and as my teacher put it "taking a risk and going WAY outside the box with this one."
