Yeah I was pretty proud of this commission in the beginning, and then as I started shading and working on his fur I started getting frustrated, and now I'm just happy that I'm done with it xD I hope.
I made several references, since I'm out of practice with animals.. and I'm not happy with his eyes but believe me they look so much better than they did!
So much white...
I hope you like it Malachi, sorry that you haven't been around much to help me out with some of these details buddy D: I busted my best to make sure it was done before you left for the sea <3
Again... think I overworked myself on a $10 commission... I seriously need to stop doing that xD it looks like it's worth twice as much. Ah well, better off since I took so long~
Malachi belongs to himself, and his wife xD

At the time I used a lot of dodge, burn, and smudge to work on my commissions. Set the smudge up to about 70-80% and just scribbled away. Took less time than it would for anyone who knows what they're doing xD I can't remember how long it took me now. I'm a slow artist, so I'm sure a couple of months or so. :) Thank you for the compliment!
this doesn't strike me as overly cloudy, but sometimes my work can start to look out of focus if i over-do it. i don't use photoshop myself; i use gimp since its free. but i don't seem to get on with any software very much - my tiny mind can't handle it. i keep being tempted to go back to mspaint, but as much as i like using it, i can't help but wonder if i'd just be overly limiting myself.
