A Promise
A promise made is to be kept
Even through the years
Even as the dust is swept
From your ancient ears

It is meant to never break
With even the most possible pressures put on it
It is meant to take
The abuse of time and war that fit

It is supposed to be a bond
Between two friends
It is supposed to stay strong
To the very end

It is meant to last
Forevermore
From the past
To the present future and more

This one did not
It didn’t last three days
And now I am caught
In the feelings of being not ok

Tears
The tears from my eyes
Are shed in pain
They show my feelings
My feelings for a person
A person that I once cared for
More than anyone else
They show my anger
My anger for the way he handled it
The situation
The situation between me and a guy
They show my caring
My caring for him
Him AND that other guy
They show my love
The love that lies within all of my friends
The love that I hold for the one I want to love
They show my sorrow
The sorrow for my decisions
The sorrow for the ones I have lost
My tears are the way
I show all of the above
As they are my only way
That I can show emotions like this
The way I can share my pain
