I'd recommend the SNES games at least, especially Super Bomberman 3 or 5.

Just to note, I think all five are worth playing (SB1 is a bit rough and can be cheaped out easily, SB2 probably has the best single player, and SB5 is better appreciated after you play all five games) even if Bomberman itself can be a bit repetitive between games since so many of them are so similar.
If it helps, all SNES games aside from SB2 are co-op as well.
