Her smell is rather like salty water on the stove, it was quite prominent.
I guess in the past when I've been around steam engines either wood or coal are so strong smelling I'd never gotten the whiff of just the steam before.

Really makes me feel nostalgia for the trains that used to run further in town during the nighttime when I was a kid. It almost seemed as if they were phantoms, guarding the town while everyone slept. They certainly soothed my childhood fears of the dark and other scary things. :>
