Shantae couldn't believe her eyes; the mist from the magic potion bottle that Risky Boots had just tossed their way was causing her friends Skye and Rottytops to turn into panicking, braying donkeys! She was so frightened at the sight that she hardly noticed the long, tufted tail that had just ripped through her own pants!

Another fun tail growth! I always appreciate the extra effort to add those pants/skirt fabric tears to really sell the transformation aspect, and also the detail of making the tassel of the tail the same color as Shantae's hair! And definitely extra points to imply obliviousness (even if it's more of being distracted) due to her attention on her friends changing as well! I'd like to think Risky is killing two birds with one stone by getting rid of her enemies while gaining donkey girl minions, maybe even a little mental changing going on! Regardless, great work!
Transforming her enemies into her minions sounds 100% like something Risky would try to do!
Even though Shantae has done her fair share of island-hopping, I wanted to do something other than the typical Pleasure Island scenario for this one. (Maybe Risky snagged her potion from Yzma while sailing the South Pacific! 😉)
I also think there's a special kind of irony in a girl who regularly turns herself into animals now being transformed against her will!

Yeah! She’s probably throw in a obedience or memory altering potion while they’re panicking for good measure!

I like to think that Shantae herself escapes from this situation with only the tail and ears of a donkey, but while she can still change into her usual animal forms, she retains her donkey features no matter what. (like she can become a donkey-eared-and-tailed monkey or elephant, for example)
