This dove has been nesting in the tree in my front yard for a while now. A dedicated mother, she stays put even when I get fairly close. I didn’t want to frighten her unnecessarily with my camera, though, so I shot this photo with a 300mm lens. I braced the camera against the tree trunk to minimize shaking. This image is uncropped.
