Well, at the mall they're already putting up Halloween stores... which is kinda nice, as usually the Halloween celebration gets completely blown over by whoever wants to put out their end-of-year holiday celibration stuff first.
Anyway, in honor of pre-Halloween, I thought I'd put up a picture of a ceramic pumpkin I made freaking years ago. It's only about 2 inches high with a diameter of about 1.5 inches. The inside is complete hollow, so it's more like an open-shell ceramic than anything else. I had originally planned on making a dozen of these, and giving them out as Halloween party favors, but I so botched the kilning process that this guy was the only one who survived.
Still, with that kinda happy smile on his face, he makes up for the loss of the other eleven.

ish very cute. I love Halloween,it's one of the few holidays I actually like.It warms my heart to hear of Halloween stores being set up already.I saw some store had already set up xmas decore in July...I so wanted to set the display on fire for the total lack of respect for the other holidays.Damn money grubbing corporate sacks of puke.
