If you noticed, my profile had a "straightfurs" badge for the longest time. Privately, my rationale was that the badge seemed to stop flirty and creepy PMs in their tracks. I was never 100% happy identifying as straight, though, because sure, I'll suc....er, better keep it clean since this is a clean submission. Until! I found out that it's possible to identify as pan*sexual* and hetero*romantic*. That label fits me really, really well and I feel a lot more comfortable with my sexuality doing so. Why pansexuality and not bisexuality? After doing my research I see them as more or less synonymous, but the dictionary definition for pansexuality (attraction regardless of gender) matches how I feel.
