Once again I'm not much of a story teller but here's what I had in mind.
After staying behind as a distraction while the others returned back to the village a monster gathered up her corpse and used its magic to bring her back to life well undeath. The others regrouped and began to focus on just defending the village. However in one of the attacks they saw Zorrena attacking some of the guards and they all decided to try and rescue her or to put her down incase that she was unable to be helped.
After a few days of fighting a unnatural blizzard began to come in causing the defenders to stay even closer to the village as it was harder for them to stay out past the walls for extended periods of time. During this time Zorrena's consciousness begins to awaken and she eventually takes back control of herself as she is in a fight about to slam her hammer into Tala. She realizes what she is doing and runs off into the woods. After a day or so of coming to terms with what she is now she begins to hunt down the undead monsters in search of their leader.
