Needless to say...
TO BE CONTINUED!
Issue 3 will be available in print at Rainfurrest. If it's not we can blame
krahnos! You may also rant about how we ended this issue at said convention. As long as you buy our comics, we won't mind.
Profiles will return in late September. Hopefully of this year, but the last time we said we'd be back...well...with a bit of luck it won't take that long.

Yeah last time we saw Regis was page 18 panel 3. Where did he go? He could have more resources then we know. With as protective as he is of his brother, he's prolly done some background checking on Lee's new BFF turned BF and discovered some abusive ex or relative. For all we know it could be his homophobe father thinking he can scare his son straight... *stops rambling*
When you're a fur, certain things come easy. Howling at the moon, licking your balls, the fight or flight response. The moment of hesitation is purely a human phenomenon. If you want to kill a human, just point a gun at them and they'll lock right up. But if you want to kill a zebra, it usually takes more than a gun pointed at their head to do it. You don't spend thousands of years evolving to let yourself die at the hands of a homophobe, especially not one so poorly dressed as the one on my doorstep.

POORLY DRESSED HOMOPHOBE
My fan self want to say: Noooooooooooooooo! Not this damn cliffhanger stuff! Heres to hoping it missed but if it didn't....grrr...wait that means you hurt Lee which means Regis will want to talk to you. I hope you have a good life insurance policy blondie.
My inner joker/troll wants to say: Bang bang he shot him down. Bang bang he hit the ground. Bang Bang. Dammit now I'll have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

So scary and even depressing...I'm already fearing the worst and a Brokeback Mountain ending.... :,(
That being said, however, I am VERY glad that you give some depth (and hopefully more in the future) to the homophobic guy (see, I even forgot his name now). I honestly look for that in stories like this, because the only way to truly deal with them, is to KNOW them (sickening as it is). So I praise you highly for doing that.
My friend Michael and I often see ourselves as the two main characters, so your story echoes in us, too.
I've got a slightly "hopeful" idea for what that "Bang" actually was.....but I will leave it to you to churn out the story. Excellent job. *gives you big thankful walrus hugs*

There's things to be said about procrastination.. most of it said by felines or hibernating bears..
Other, more related things;
He's not looking where his gun is pointing, let's just hope you're not going for a "up like a lion, down like a pelt" thing. Poor kitty's been through enough already.
And for my second opinion, I shall channel Josh Whedon, albeit abit paraphrased:
"A cliffhanger, that's a surprise"
"Sarcasm! That's original"
You like these abit too much! I'm still twitching from certain Carpe Diem ones :P
Lastly:
WHY DO YOU DO THIS!
Given; for me - september's not that far off.. but.. it's got a whole month of being september before you're officially late..
*paces*

If a book or movie is well written, I become in-rapt to the story and don't really concern myself with putting it together because, I LOVE being surprised. Now there is always the exception, there is no solid rule for any one thing. After all, that is how the world continues to turn, variation. Natures only constant.
What usually bothers me is in comics like Coyote River, where the bull boss seems to know so much about Buck, it makes you wonder if they ever did anything together. Also Bruno, the farm hand, WHY doesn't he speak, and when he whispers in the comic, what the hell is he saying. Its things like that, what bother me. :-P
That said, you're comic along with Carpe Diem are of the best I've read. ASB was good, but highly predictable. Circles is good but in a different way. I highly look forward to what else you have in store for us. Thank you for what you've done so far. *hugs kindly*

Someone shot the bad guy, could be a cop or a recurring character that happens to own a firearm, and then we hear about what happened in the dog dude's past. His past is stretched out over most of the issue and probably includes a sex scene. It could end the series with everything being okay, or lead up to relationship issues if the series is to be continued past that point.
Unfair? Please sir. There are several comics out there that are heterosexually based, you just have to go find them. Fair sir, is a matter of opinion. But for a fact, homosexuals are still in the minority in the world and in the media.

love the comic doing great with art and and storyline!....he looks like he is using a glock 21....why not a highpoint....no wasted money if he does shoot someone. Better yet why not a knife something you don't even have to register and can throw in a lake miles from the crime! Not as much noise! But then i guess he has to worry about the zebra overpowering him i guess. AAHHH so many things to wonder WHY?!!??!?!?!......ok maybe I'm thinking too much.....anyway can't wait for the next issue to come out. And will likely buy the books as soon as i can.
blah...nothing like viciously demonizing everyone you don't like or doesn't like you...the whole "persecution/fursecution" is so old and cliche...yes there are still people who don't like gay people, but you are more likely to be the victim of a hate crime due to your race or even religion than your sexuality...totally blown out of proportion by TV, there were 7 hate crime murders against all people in the US in 2008...
Let me clarify what I mean, I'm not saying that people who are gay aren't discriminated against, I'm just saying that everyone gets discriminated against. I've been discriminated against for being white living in a mainly black area, robbed, mugged, assaulted, insulted, etc. and I've been discriminated against because of my religion, turned down jobs simply due to religious views, mocked, slandered, etc. and been discriminated against for my political views, apartment vandalized, friends turned against me and verbally attacked me, etc.
And if you compare what gay people are going through compared to women or blacks or muslims, it's nothing. Gay people aren't being treated as 2nd class citizens with no rights, being treated as property and killed with no justice for them, not be allowed to vote, own property, get jobs, sit with other people, shop at places other people shop at, etc. until like 60 years ago black people weren't even allowed to sleep with white people legally, I mean it's not even close to the same...
