revenge on  deviousraptor who hit me with an action-packed lineless attack!

lineless just takes me too long to get something good done for artfight, so i went 3D instead to ensure the attack was still special. trying to figure out how to get blender to cooperate with me on presenting the model was... EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to say the least, tho. i originally wanted a turntable gif but gave up. just programming the damn thing to have a background image was super draining... (in sculptris btw all you have to do for bgs and turntables is select those options in the main menu, it only doesn't SAVE the turntable or let you put your own light sources) so, while i do now know enough to create and present 3D painted models, i'm on the hunt for a new (free or very cheap) modeling program to let me do some basic stuff like add light sources and joints, without being so complex that i need to dedicate an entire day to watching tutorial after tutorial just to make one thing.
