“See? Wasn’t a picnic a good idea?! You are welcome, by the way.”
Whisper jogged ahead, as Lane tried to keep up, his arms full with a picnic basket, rolled up blanket, and a backpack full of supplies. It was a gorgeous day, perfect for walking in the park, getting some fresh air, or just relaxing with a friend. Since it had been a long time since they last hung out, Whisper called up Lane and asked could they have a picnic.
“You mean just a quiet day out? No fighting, near death adventures, or us getting in trouble?” Lane said with a hint of pessimism in his voice. Something about the words “quiet” and “Whisper” didn’t go together- at least when he was around her.
About 20 minutes into their trek, Whisper pointed to an empty clearing near a lake. When Lane finally caught up, she grabbed the blanket from his arms. Afterwards, Lane sat the basket down as they began pulling all the tasty treats out. Whisper had make sure to pack everything from sandwiches and chips, to fresh fruit and cookies for them to enjoy!
“See, just a quiet lunch. Isn’t this nice?” Whisper smiled as she started to dig in; that long walk had actually made her quite hungry!
Lane just nodded as he stuffed his mouth. He wasn’t complaining; he was just happy to be away from it all and have some time with his friend for a change.
It has certainly been a while since Lane and Whisper spent any time together.
Let the record show Whisper is more than capable of having a normal, peaceful day with her friends without it resulting in being chased, maimed, or causing potential life and death injuries! LOL
A piece I got earlier this year as a belated birthday gift for my buddy Lane, but I'm just getting around to posting (oops). Still cute regardless and I could not resist posting it.

Thank you so much. Yeah I have been a bit down lately due to work and real life, that is why I haven't been very actively. But I'm okay! I am so glad everyone enjoys seeing art of my girl. I plan to try and post more soon, including some new art I should be getting soon~
