Now THERE'S a "Blast from the past" in my book. I was first introduced to The Legends of Treasure Island way back in the early 1990s by a Canadian pen pal who sent me a VHS tape that included most of the "Treasure Island's" episodes, and several episodes of "Captain Star." Once I saw the buckles on the character's shoes, I recognized the origins of the two instantly.
