Well I got the new Aliens Vs Predator game a few days ago and well having after having beaten both the Alien and Pred campaigns well this was inevitable. I drew up this guy once before but here he is again looking better with a bit of a revamp. Boys and girls meet Deki'wan. He's a young Yautja. Now Deki here may not be the strongest of his peers but he definitely is a bright one. He's quite smart and an excellent tactician. He's also pretty agile and swift. He may not be a down and dirty grappler but he's still a skilled kid. He's always the first picked by his peers for for their battle tech. Although he does get some teasing for his continence issues. But luckily for him Yaujta diapers are great at neutralizing smells and very quite as well as able to absorb a whole lot. So when he's out hunting he can go a while between changes. Often times one of his team mates will help out and change him although it usually involves some good natured teasing which gets him blushing. Here we see him on the steps of a temple with two of his favored weapons. His claw gauntlet and his hand pulse cannon. Course he's also got a a death dics in his pack with other supplies. Looks like someone just called his name oer on the other stairway. Deki may need a change before they start out on the hunt. Anyone wanna give him a hand?

I noticed a common theme in your drawings:
1. Incontinence is a common thing that is widely accepted
2. Everyone wears diapers, even though there are mutliple ways to solve an incontinence problem. But of course for you they won't work, because they either don't want to be continent (because they like it, it's apparentally a common thing) or they got it through some freak accident that should have them huddled up in a psychiatrist's office bawling from 5 to 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
3. EveryTHING wears diapers, even aliens of a completely different society and biology that may or may not be hellbent on killing things and then gutting them just because it is considered sporty
4. They're usually pretty weak but they're also super geniuses and really techy. If you are incontinent you must also obviously be a quantom physicist, or atleast know your way around technology that would make Bill Gates' head spin.
So I expect cuteypatooty crab-face there with his unusually kawaii eyes will be out in a few days to extinguish a bloody, terrorized life. <3

Well the vast majority of my pics take place in my own furry universe and town where it is common and accepted. So that's a mute point.
As for my thing of drawing various aliens and such diapered. Well I like diapers and I tend to like said aliens. So is it any wonder I combine the two in my art and cute it up a bit?
And is regards to personalities. Sorry maybe I should vary it up a bit but given that intelligence is something I hold in high regards should it be a surprise that many of my characters hold the same trait. And I didn't say this character was weak persay. Simply that other Preds out class him in strength. I also mentioned that he was fast and agile.

We must remember to all his own, I love your art Lig, while your characters are similar I like how you actually give back stories to them. Most people just dont even bother sharing.
One thing I feel I must point out is that the proper context is a "moot point" not mute...sorry I just don't like seeing people using vocabulary improperly.

That is not a moot point, you're being unrealistic.
Okay but is it any wonder that I find that to be really odd? There's a point where you like two things and then there's a point where you stop because combining those things doesn't work out well.
Fast and agile is another thing that's overused. Everything you do is a mary-sue and a gary-stu. Have you ever tried a character who is pretty much normal except with a freaky diaper fetish that he hides from the world because he would probably get ridiculed to death and not just teased? Although maybe he's sort of strong and also of average intelligence although he's actually really good at baseball? Or etcetera etcetera? Something that people wouldn't expect?

On the point of that. Yes I have. I have two I can name off the top of my head. A cat character named Jacob. Though his diaper reason are for need but he didn't start out wanting it. He slowly developed his continence issues. Was good at soccer, average popularity. Only problem before the major continence issues was bed wetting which he kept secret.
Then there's a bear character of mine named Jason. Wears diapers by choice. He's a Freighter captain originally from a babyfur colony world. He runs freight rather then passengers cuz he gets tired of listening to the complaints from them and comments on his choice of undergarment if or when they find out.
And I do have some other characters which I have not drawn diapered my Sauroid Talyn for example.
As for realistic. Well I try to keep it such to a point. But when the premis for your main universe used is a genetic virus which turned people into furrs and resulted in a war which lead to the extinction of normal humans and then moves on into a nearly thousand year long period where civilization takes to recover well strict ties to reality tend to go out the window.
As for fast and agile being common though. Well Yeah. But so is strength.
Anyway lets just drop this here. I don't want this page getting cluttered with our interchange.

There's a certain comic out there I enjoy about a group of characters involving a boy whose body is elastic, a guy that wields three swords at once and loses more blood than the human blood holds, and a man who was run over by a train and rebuilt his own body out of scrap parts, just to name a few. Yet as ridiculous as the premise is, the characters are likable and still flawed, and the world as a whole is pretty believable.
The term 'realistic' does not have to apply solely to the pseudo-scientific ideas behind the world as much as it does how believable the character is. If every character is created nearly the same way with incredibly similar Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu-ish qualities, there's very much a problem.
Even if you're doing this for fun, you can't possibly post over eight HUNDRED of these drawings and synopsizes publicly and not expect someone to criticize your work.
I know you said not to 'clutter' this page up, but rasile has a point, and it's about time this got brought up (besides, what else were you expecting the comment boxes to be used for?).

I know. And I've tried to vary things up personality wise with my characters since. And I do realize that some of these guys don't go into great depth. Mainly I'm just trying to give a summary. And well This is what I felt was most fitting for this character. And it should be noted that this character is not a new one. It's one I did quite some time back that I've decided to update.
Also if the back story for this guy doesn't seem satisfactory to some well feel free to throw me a bone and tell me what you think a reasonable back story for him would be.
As for what I expected. Well frankly I wasn't sure to expect any comments at all given most of the time my more scifi themed stuff even when note diaper related tend to get few if any comments. I expected an at most maybe an "That's cute." or an "Never seen one of those diapered before." Course I'm open like I said to any suggestions for improvement to his story.
And I do know your right I should expect criticism. It's just well you'd like it not to be the first comment on a piece.

Why not? It's useful.
And really, if you honestly want to get better I'd say you kinda need to go back to square one. The 'style' you're going with is more detrimental artistically and has little to no way of allowing improvement without looking at the fundamentals of anatomical structure, shaping, and line work (there are books out there, but I'm not talking about those "How to draw comics/manga" books; they are often the plague). Check out some good, more 'official' books and start looking more at life for reference.
Basically the same thing with writing. If you're constantly making such similar characters and thinking one small change will count as a 'drawback,' you're really going to need to back up a bit. If you want the stories to look good, you'd probably fare better starting over, researching how other good writers make characters, and figuring what will stop making stuff Mary Sues (which also may involve not doing fan-related/diaper-related characters for awhile).

Yes I know it's useful. Still doesn't change that you would like the first comment to be something positive. Or at least have a positive aspect to it.
As for your advice on characters. Ya know for the next few rather then a simple explanation I'll write a bit of an actual story to accompany it to show the actual personality rather then just a dry. "These are his traits." Type thing.
As for the art yes I know I'm not close to some of the best on here. I'm not vying for that. I've come a heck of a long way though from where I started. As for poses and life reference. Might be useful. Though frankly I'm not very inclined to go out and spend money on an art book considering the price. I will try to vary my poses and actions in the pics a bit but it's often difficult for me to come up with something for said character even a well versed one such as my main character Lig and well I simply lack confidence in drawing more ambitious stuff I guess.
On a side note I do realize I may be just a tad over sensitive in this respect. Probably perceiving a condescending tone where none exist. But a tip. You generally get a better reaction out of someone when you say something positive as well.
At any rate though don't expect a big change for the next like six pics I'll be posted up as I've already got them drawn and inked up.

In fact it is a Moot point, because we could all discuss it over any length of time but in the end it is lig who makes the final decision on the topic in debate i.e. the story behind his Yautja character.
Words are all the more powerful if you know the complete meaning behind it.
Also Lig, in true Yautja culture, most likely, the other Yuatja would have killed and or removed an essential body part from the poor incontinent creature as he would be deemed weak... but who knows...
