Nearly 6 years ago, before I came up with Roocan, I first imagined these two raccoon characters. I mainly thought of these two as perhaps being videogame characters, specifically as stars of platform games in which they'd go on exciting adventures, battling evil along the way (like pretty much all platform game heroes). Also, I imagined the characters being quite different to each other in terms of appearance and personality, but still being good friends. I also thought that having two characters would be ideal for two players!

After recently remembering this idea of mine, I decided to draw it out for the first time. The character on the right might remind you of Roocan, and indeed the characteristics I wanted him to have are in some ways quite similar to Roocan's! I guess you could say he ended up becoming a prototype of sorts for Roocan. Behind these two raccoons is their base, which is where they live and prepare for their adventures.
