How does it feel to have so much freedom?
It's 7:30 am in Paris when I made this comment.

I am just getting the (very) bad habit of sleeping later and later (i.e. early in the morning).

Concerning the "quiet city" of Paris, well, at 6:00 am went to bed waiting for the dustbin lorry to pass. Around 6:10 I started to get sleepy... and at 6:14 I woke up with the cacophony of the dustcart and the noise of the garbage cans. It lasted almost 5 minutes. I succeeded to sleep a little before getting back to reality with the horn blasts of the car trying to get out of Paris this Saturday morning (probably trying to avoid the arrival of the Tour de France this Sunday). I will probably stay at home on Sunday and not try to get out... it seems that the bicycle racers are going to pass under my windows. Yet I am not sure if I would give a look of not.

I quite like the idea of formulating by "so much freedom" the complete lack of safeguard !
Maybe I should try to "organize" my days in a more decent way this Summer.
It is the most quiet period of the year... and also the most conducive to procrastinate.

Freedom is never guarantee. You must fight for it, and deal with the consequences.
But, I found that is a rather small price to pay. Sleeping Cities at night... did you check out the playlist I sent you?

Many years ago I lived in Pennsylvania, one night I went to bed without eating because I wasn't hungry.
And it hit me. Mom would have made dinner, and serve me, regardless I was hungry or not.
And I would eat, regardless I was hungry or not. But this time there was nobody making dinner. And that felt awesome.

Then I started to do certain things, not because I wanted to do them but because I COULD do it.
When I moved to NYC, one day I took the 6 train at 1am to Chinatown and looked for a restaurant to sit down and eat.
I didn't do it because I wanted, I did it because there was nothing stopping me from doing it.

Merci ! - Pour ce qui est des textures, une grande partie vient du dessin original mais le post-traitement sous GIMP où j'ai rajouté les effets de couleur, le bruit gaussien, la trame d'imprimerie et où je me suis amusé de renforcer la netteté au niveau des yeux et du museau et un peu de flou sur les bords pour donner un peu plus de "dynamisme" à la chose.
