Big health update 07/2021
Woof I've been putting this off. Sorry everyone. Just still having some trouble wrapping my head around this.
After a lot of various tests, I'm not longer testing in the range of Rheumatoid Arthritis and so my newest Rheu has said all my previous diagnosis were just blind attempts to treat me. He doesn't feel comfortable putting my body through immune suppressants since they were only doing half the job.
We tested RA, Lupus, Celiac, and a few other things I can't quite recall off the top of my head. All negative thankfully. But my thyroid numbers were bad/low or something so I need to go back to my GP and see if we should be running tests on that or medicating a thyroid condition to see if that helps.
So I officially don't have RA anymore, woooo I'm cured!! Haha... feels kinda like a weird joke. We do all assume I have fibromyalgia still and working with it.
So good news, I no longer have to compromise my immune system any more! Bad news we still have no idea what's causing all of my chronic pain and fatigue. But we'll be monitoring and making a lot more doctor's appointments to follow this up. This is far from over, just a new direction in my treatments.
AND MAYBE NOW I CAN OWN A KITTY CAT AGAIN. ლ(=ↀωↀ=)ლ

I hope you get the news you're trying so hard for. I'm going through the same thing right now with no answers, so if u ever need to talk or vent about it my dms are always open. I've never met anyone whos going thru the same things so I'm very invested in what your doctors are doing/testing for. ; v;
Yeesh... doctors sometimes, I swear. They try their best I guess but sometimes they really do be just blindly going at diagnoses. Still, it's good news to know it's not that, but frustrating that you don't know definitely what it is. I hope it all gets sorted soon! Pain and fatigue are so ad when you want to sit and draw.... I am hoping the best for you in the future! And as a cat person, I request pics (in your scraps) of the new kitty when you get them!! Kitties are the best.

I have Sjogrens, possibly more, and fibro myself, and I'm going to be put on Methotrexate. (The Plaquenil I was allergic to...)
Fibro can cause chronic fatigue and pain. I am on amitriptyline for the nerve pain, though my rheu wants me to try Cymbalta. Are you on anything for the nerve pain?
Have you gone to therapy for the fibro at all?
I have Sjogrens, possibly more, and fibro myself, and I'm going to be put on Methotrexate. (The Plaquenil I was allergic to...)
