Am I correct in that this is not actually a diamond?

I believe a diamond's cuts would be sharper, and I can't tell if they're artifacts of the camera/lighting, but I think there are a lot of flaws. Also, the light doesn't play right for diamond's index of refraction.

Well, you didn't put any context in there, and there's nothing to really indicate the size (though I figured it was pretty big since its not a high quality photo that one would expect from a miniature camera or a strong macro lens.)

We can still dream though.
