This is a piece I did to visualise
panzergulo's short story on FA: "After The End Of The World: Why Training Owns The Rule Of Cool", which you can read here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3827041
To summarise, in a post-apocalyptic setting, a group of canines take their new, pretty black, red and white armoured truck for a test drive, and promptly discover that more competent vehicle crews take umbridge to armed vehicles rolling through their territory.
I particularly liked this idea, as I have read many RPs on Feila and stories on FA in which practicality and physical possibilities are downplayed in favour of the 'Rule of Cool', a phrase here meaning 'Willingly suspending disbelief at the implausible due to how impressive and amazing it is."
I think this is particularly pertinent to this story, in which Bill the wolf manages to fit everything including the proverbial kitchen sink into his truck, without concern for actual combat conditions, or even that he is driving into an area where a battle tank has been sighted, with only an autocannon built to destroy lightly armoured targets.
Now, the technical details!
The tank is based on varied pictures of the Leopard 2, most of which showed a Leopard 2A6. Its primary armament is the German made Rheinmetall 120 mm L55 smoothbore gun. It's secondary armament is a machine gun, the Rheinmetall MG 3. It also features electronically fired smoke mortars.
In comparison, the modified truck is very loosely based off a Severe Duty FLD 120SD Truck, with most elements improvised. I only used the reference for proportions really. Its primary armament is the US made M242 Bushmaster 25mm chain-fed autocannon, mounted in an open-top armoured turret. It has a secondary armament of two Finnish made Lahti L-39 20mm Anti-tank rifles, which are mounted in sponsons on either side of the vehicle. It also features a bullbar big enough to hit a Rhinoceros, and an intake scoop capable of ingesting a whole flock of pigeons. It was not mentioned in the story, but I added three large horns and some orange hazard lights on the top to give it an industrial-type feel.
In case you cannot read the phrases written along the truck, I will list them below. I was not sure what sort of things it might say, so I included a load of random quotes.
Justice Renders to Everyone His Due - English translation of old Latin phrase.
Tracers work BOTH ways! - Military saying.
Raiding Party! - AOE taunt.
Blood and IRON - Speech by Otto von Bismarck.
Who Dares WINS - British SAS motto
Well, I hope you like it. :-D

Oh, nice! Panzer wrote that, in response to me an' Draggo's story series, which features these: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/3834676/
A bit of a friendly nose-tweak, an' all.
That's a grand bit you did, well worthy of Panzer's excellent story. Great job.

Very nice. Good work, man. I really like how silly the truck looks. And the tank... well, looks very much like the later Leopard 2 models. The overall feeling is very good too... warm colors, early morning hour, in the wasteland, in a dead forest. Looks very good.

Great piece of art. And good work. Keep it up.
