Common battle theme from the November 1999 historical Horror-RPG, Koudelka. Composer: Hiroki Kikuta. Up-pitched by 2 keys.
If anyone knows this RPG, kudos to you. It was the origin game that setted the stage for the Shadow Hearts trilogy for the PS2, which was honestly one of the better RPGs around for its time, alongside with the Xenosaga trilogy. This however, was from the PS1 era. Much like what happened with Xenogears, it was a forerunner to a follow-up trilogy. Although that franchise was focused on a sci-fi space opera.
