I sort of let the story write itself, and this was the only way I thought it could really end after part 2. The resistance had its job cut out for them, and Kelvrin and the others had to deal with Indigo.
I kind of thought it'd be a noble yet as you put it bittersweet ending for Kelvrin's arc, since it seems like the kind of thing he would do after all he had experienced over that ten years since he joined up with Murdock.
Thanks for being such a versatile star. :)

I just hope I didn't influence it too much with my comments after part 2 :P. I liked the crazy Indigo, it probably made more sense than some of the other ideas I had.
And the ending was very good, a bit sad but hopeful. It's curious that Nexii chose to keep the basic imprint of herself :) Was the 8th personality the self created one, or from that basic imprint? I wasn't too sure

Actually, no. I had three potential plans for Indigo, either she would turn out to be the main bad guy and Pete and Murdock would turn out to be Orange and Yellow, though this plan felt too much like the reveal for Indigo, so it was dropped.
The second plan involved having Indigo be the puppet, but I didn't like that as it seemed to cause more issues than it would solve.
So I went with the route I chose, keeping Indigo's plan separate from the others, and using the divided plot threads I already had to decide who would go after what target. I like the way it worked out, it got me what I wanted, which was Red and Blue Vs. Indigo. ;) I wanted one fight hand to hand and one with blades. ;)
I'm glad you liked the ending, I thought it was the best way to resolve Indigo, as they wouldn't have wanted to kill her seeing as she was one of them. What did you think of Kelvrin's ultimate choice to wipe 10 years of his life?
As for the 8th personality, it could be either. She had all 7 of the weapons including herself, and Kelvrin, though since she was completely wiped unlike the others who were just buried, it is probable that the personality she had before imprinting the others was the 'vacuum' that created its own personality, rather than her basic imprint.

Ya most of my thoughts were along the lines of #2, controlled secretly either by Murdock, the rebellion, or some other evil organization. But that would have likely required more than 1 story to wrap up. #1 would have been interesting... I think you could have made the Yellow/Orange part work with the storyline you chose. But again adding a battle scene for them might to flesh that out would have made it a bit long. And it might have diminished the role of the rebellion too much.
I think Kelvrim's decision was good and noble - I expected Blue to be a bit more sad/upset about it given the ending to part 1. I think Kelvrim might have had to wipe a bit more than 10 years going back. Though I guess he's a supergenius so it's possible he derived the knowledge very quickly :P
Yea after rereading parts the 8th is the 'evil/void' personality with the training. By her comments to Kelvrim on her memory I'd say she probably tried adding the basic imprint to the 'evil' personality. After living 10 years the results were very disappointing. At least that's my take :P.

Yeah, #2 was a potential runner, but it seemed like as you said it would take more than one story to wrap that up, and there were no plans for a part 4. Were this a 'television series' ie, more installments but shorter for each, I might've explored that option, though in either case it seemed like the secret reveal for Indigo was enough of a surprise.
The problem with #1 was that if Pete/Murdock were Orange and Yellow, then the only person that could've controlled them would be Indigo, though that would've concentrated the action a bit too much I think.
Kelvrin only asked her to erase ten years because that was when he first met Murdock and learned about the technology. He would not have known how to reprogram minds before then. Blue probably might have been more upset if there was a part 4 to explore that, but it seemed like it would be extraneous at the ending here.
I'm not sure what you mean by the results were disappointing?

Ya well the other problem with #1 is that they refer to Orange and Yellow in the third person a lot in the earlier parts. So you're probably right in that they couldn't be self-controlled to explain that (my thought was for them not to have a controller)
I guess that all makes sense with Kelvrim then :)
I meant that I interpreted it that Indigo had probably imprinted her basic imprint just before imprinting the other weapons. It sort of explains that dialogue about wondering what her favorite color and food were. Since it contained no memories, it was pretty much useless and discarded in the lab for Kelvrim to find, and use for the ending.

Well, all of the weapons would've had to have had a controller seeing as Violet, Blue, and Red had all been shown to obey orders and not take much independent action. Indigo being the exception because she was different and programmed differently. I suppose it's possible they could've just given themselves the skills, though that would've required a scene to show that, and no matter how you sliced it I felt there was no space for Orange and Yellow in the story. Green was sort of a fortunate happenstance that he was able to be featured, but I wanted at least one male weapon to have a role.
Yeah, I see what you mean now. Indigo's basic imprint was relatively useless to her as a weapon, though after all of that was cleared away it was a suitable starting point for Kelvrin to reprogram her to start over.

Yea it's sort of unfortunate Orange and Yellow didn't get to play more of a role. I think you did pick the best storyline of the 3 though.
It does seem a bit sad though for Nexii, losing all her memories once again. I think she'd still be pretty messed up for a long time, a lot moreso than Lauren, Susanna, and Kelvrin. I wonder if they'd tell her the whole story and if she'd even believe it :P

If I had more than three parts, they might have. But I knew part 1 was just Blue. Part two introduced Red and the tail of Indigo, and Part three had them interacting. There would've had to be a fourth part to really have justification to see them all. It seemed the better course of action to acknowledge them but not try to force them in where there wouldn't have been space.
For Nexii, it was I think the only thing they could've really done for her, as leaving her the way she was was too dangerous, and who knows what the United States government would've done with her. They've all got their own demons now. Lauren spent ten years not being able to do anything but look at the same view, Red spent those ten years being a weapon with blood on her paws, and Kelvrin while now no longer haunted by his ghosts, he will eventually realize he's missing a decade of memories. Nexii in some ways is the lucky one, she gets to start completely over.

Yea it was that or kill Nexii but I guess that wouldn't have been very hero-like. Personally I think I'd rather have some memories than none at all, but they really had to wipe everything. Even then I'm sure they were pretty leery for awhile, given all the trouble that Indigo caused :P.
Since they had already kind of expressed the desire to free the others if possible, it was consistent that they wouldn't kill Indigo.
I'm sure that Lauren probably ended up taking Nexii under her wing so to speak, seeing as the four of them are sort of all the same, lost and searching for something. I imagined that afterwards, Nexii would be somewhat childlike for a while.

Yeah, I ended up killing him, but I think he had a good run. :) He served a useful purpose in part 2, and though his role was somewhat small in part 3 I think he was helpful. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I look forward to working with Darius in the next one. :)
See how much fun furry fiction can be when you have someone that knows what they're doing? :)

I'm not too surprised he died, but I was kinda interested that his death was more a secondary result of something. Just goes to show you that not everyone gets an epic death in conflict. But I'm happy to hear that he was helpful.
And I agree with you. Spur of the moment writing can be good, but the best stories often are planned.

I would've liked to have killed him in a more epic fashion, though as we all know, not everyone can end up in a one on one fight with their arch nemesis. I think he died well, and at least he doesn't have to await trial this way. Heh.
But anyway, despite his smaller role in part 3, I think he helped make the villians roles stronger in part 2 and 3, so I think it worked out well. ;)

Hehe. :) Yeah, I was pondering how they'd run into Green, I'd thought about other ways, but considering how the conclusion had so many parts this seemed the best way, and I wanted to inject a little humor into it. :)
Mixed consequences? :)
I figured since I knew that Sabah had some fighting training he'd be better to send against Green rather than the two of you doing it together. That, and someone had to plant the bombs. ;)

*giggles* Well I love blowing things up, which explains my infatuation with Red Faction Guerrilla.
Yes, Emmy felt bad and opened the container containing Blue, thus getting many people kicked in the face and chest, however Blue ended up being a goodie, only mislead.
Just hurtful and helpful moments from one decision. :)
I think I missed a little something when I was reading though, what exactly happened to Green after the machine was stopped?

Yeah, you got to blow up the generator. Woo hoo!
Well, if Emmy hadn't freed Blue, they never would've been pushed into an eventual final showdown. ;) *grins* Though I bet Emmy will think twice before opening any future containers of stasis frozen zebras. :)
I kind of assumed that Green did not survive, and like Violet was unfortunate enough to be killed in action, though since he was still inside the facility when Emmy and Sabah left, he was likely killed in the explosion.

It's a good thing you all got out of the facility or Blue probably would have knocked you all out. ;) *giggles*
Yeah, I recalled they didn't have time to pull him out as Sabah was injured and they had to get back to the vehicle first, even if they had wanted to they probably wouldn't have had time.

Oh yeah, that's perfectly fine. :) After all, there are three folks that haven't read part 2 yet, so you're okay. ;) You're ahead of the curve. ;) Hee. ;)
I figured you'd like your speech towards the end. I was possibly considering sending Kazer with Emmy and Sabah, but I just couldn't bring myself to not do that speech right before victory thing. :) *giggles* If the generator facility had not been part of the plot Kazerthan might've gotten to do some more fighting, but that wasn't in the cards. I assumed that based on his history he'd get right back on the saddle and keep fighting the good fight, even after things had calmed down. ;)
So what part of the three did you like the most? :)

I think the part where Murdock sends his personal warship to attack us was pretty good I mean come on who belly ups to bring out a warship against us and then be like "Hey bitch were here to take your base" and were like "oh yeah well bitches dont know about our firepower" and the part where im screaming at murdock its like oop gonna take mah gun here, fly up to you and take you out with one bullet XD
