The story so far: In this drawing, Zee-Zee ended up having to wear diapers on a playdate at MJ's house. So then in this drawing, we saw MJ agreeing to wear pull-ups and try to use the potty next time he came to visit Zee-Zee!
Well, as you can see, the day didn't go too well. MJ's mommy was hoping that a playdate in pull-ups with a potty-training squirrel his own age would really get MJ on board with the whole potty idea, but in fact he found that everybody kept pestering him with "do you need the potty?", and then when he did want to go Zee-Zee was in the middle of a new clever game idea and had no time to think about potties, and then when he did notice a poopy coming in time to sit on the potty, he still couldn't understand what's so great about it...
So it's back to diapies for MJ Bear! It's gonna be a while before he's ready to try this little experiment again!

Cute and clever as always. I particularly like how super excited Zee is to mentor his pal only to, in the end, be too caught up in fun and good times at the pivotal moment, MJ`s response to his mom at the end is priceless as you can totally feel the dismay ftom his mom from MJ`s understandable response.
Yes, poor Mrs Bear was hoping the visit to the Squirrel household would end with MJ happily chattering about how he used the potty and how he's looking forward to being a big boy... but she'll just have to be patient a little while longer.
And Zee-Zee doesn't make a great teacher, at least not if the lesson lasts any longer than five minutes or so, because his attention span just won't stretch that far! ^.^

I'm sure she doesn't really mind changing diapers for a little while longer. Mommies never want their cubs to grow up too fast, after all! And if it wasn't the most fun day MJ's ever had, at least he knows he made Zee-Zee feel better! And now they can have another playdate in pull-ups or diapers, according to preference, and just have fun playing! ^.^
