Found this rare cuckoo clock on Ebay recently. The hand painted bird at the top is what I love most about it. This clock was made in the early 1900's by Faller Sohne in Triberg Germany. Had to replace the 5, and the 11 celluloid numerals on the clock face with new ones. Also replaced the hooks for the pine cone weights. The weights are marked 1500 grams that's 3.3 pounds each. The cuckoo bird inside had been repainted horribly all white with red eyes. So I repainted the bird the traditional colors for a clock of this age, and will post another photo of the bird.

Nice. My parents used to have one and I loved it. I don't know what happened to it though. I would really like to find one some time though. We also used to have a large pink aluminum Christmas tree that was left in Charleston, SC when we moved to Memphis. I miss that as well. They're super expensive and hard to find now.
While looking for a cuckoo clock I noticed they make new pink ones. https://www.bavarianclockworks.com/.....uckoo-clock-9/
