we are quite happy with how our flags have turned out though there are still more to be added and still more improvement to be made its a happy start on this wonderful journey we're happy to have you
what do the flags mean?
MAIN FLAG
simple! starting with the main flag, the white and orange represent the colours the akagara painted below their eyes and on their cheeks more than 16,000 years ago! the starts represent the 6 provinces of kotena, with the points of the stars representing all of the 30 states of our wonderful country!, moving on the crown with the star is the official logo for out king, but also military, flown from the main mast below the penany
NAVAL PENANT
flown from the top of the ship the penant is simply adapted from out main flag, penants are flow above the main flag on the main mast normally only during parades but we like flying ours with pride
NAVAL JACK
the naval jack, flown from our bow with pride! its all white for simplicity's sake, with the stars for the provinces being there, the gold star represents the military but also the crown, even managing to take center stage on the crown itself on the official symbol, our small lil dark blue star friend there represents dragonia, our beloved and kind neighbors across our "border" and while we may officially hold power of them we're proud to have managed 13,000 years of happy and peaceful co-operation
NAVAL ENSIGN
the naval ensign, the official navy flag, flown from the stern with pride this beautiful piece of frabric represents kotena, and dragonia, same size, same distance, as a show of our care and belief of equality between our nations, gently gliding over the ocean represented by light blue at the base of the flag and with the gold star of both of our militaries center stage
