LOL KATBAT FACT SHEET
I don't know what inspired me to do this XD
(Template taken from a bat sheet <3)
I an oddly homesick for Tennessee ):
Identifying Features:
Katbats (Katius Batious) are a medium-sized bat with very long ears. Their fur is light brown with a dark brown mane. Their heads are covered in champagne blonde locks of hair to protect their delicate faces. This bat's ears are enormous. When the ears are laid back they extend to the bottom of their mane. The face is actually a doll face. Made of porcelain and easily shattered if mishandled.
Migration/Hibernation
These bats do not undertake a major migration but some are known to travel if a nesting spot becomes to crowded or stressful. The hibernation roosts are usually abandoned bunk beds or bean bag chairs inside tiny apartments with a stable warm temperature. While hibernating they hang solo or in small groups in enclosed areas for safety, with their fur erect to provide maximum insulation and with their ears coiled back.
Habitat
Katbat's enjoy living in warm temperatures with little to no humidity, though some have come to be found in humid areas from time to time. They like to stay close to their nesting roost and become very stressed when away for to long.
Range
These bats are native to East Tennessee but have been found living as far as Florida.
Wild Status
They are listed as an Endangered species in Tennessee and a Sensitive species in Florida. Because this species is sensitive to disturbance, it has been shown that they will abandon nesting sites after human interference.
Diet
They specialize in eating chicken, beef, and shrimp. Katbat's are usually a late flier and will forage along restaurants to pick up the scraps.
Predators
Predators include, dragons, restaurant owners, Recording Arts Students in Full Sail, and car drivers native to Florida.
Life Span
Life span is undocumented, the longest live bat recorded is 19 years old.
Extra Fun-facts
When it's roosting or hibernating, Katbat's curls up their long ears and puff up their manes and tail.
When flying they can rapidly extend or contract their ears.
The Katbat's tail runs the length of her entire belly and keeps her warm during hibernation.
If a Katbat's face becomes damaged or broken they will either make a new one, or steal one from existing dolls.
