Blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) is such a lovely treat!
I have many fond memories from my childhood of taking care of my family's garden and reaping the rewards during the summers in the form of all the black currants I could wish for.
Blackcurrant jam, blackcurrant-berry crumbs, blackcurrants ... and when I got older, blackcurrant liqueur (or "Blackcurrant schnapps" as it is called here). <3
My love of gardening is one of the reasons why, when I started playing World of Warcraft, I chose the druid path .. And so Rachael the Druid was born!
So why not combine the two!
