This photo really shows off the color scheme of my daughter-in-law’s new Squier's J Mascis Jazzmaster. The gold-colored aluminum pickguard nicely frames the components we see here.
The Jazzmaster has two independent circuits: lead and rhythm which are selected by the switch at the upper right here. The two black wheels adjust the volume and tone of the rhythm circuit. A pair of witch hat knobs, not seen in this shot handle the volume and tone for the lead circuit.
