My daughter lives at Waton, in the UK. She snapped this flyover for me, and it is so beautiful I couldn't help but share it.
Waton was an American bomber base during WWII, and her house is right off of the old runway. Sadly, the land is now being parceled out for housing development. When we visited two years ago, my imagination ran wild. The area is so very beautiful, and the poppies were in full bloom. A few of the old out buildings were still there as well.
