Yes I am (literally) posting Christmas art in July, deal with it. Thought of Rudolf again how Aura’s mom was never seen or even mentioned in my story, and asked myself what I should do with her.

Instead of going with the usual cliche that she died offscreen, I instead came up with the idea that since Aura’s dad (whom I’ve now named Frostbite) was such a shithead and wouldn’t allow her to keep her daughters (even though Frostbite hates Aura for being a freak he only kept her around to boost his image as a leader), she dumped his ass and remarried, with a new much better husband and kids.

Aura was NOT happy when she reunited with her mother having learned that she reluctantly abandoned her daughter leaving her stuck with years of emotional abuse from her father and older sister, but this picture is obviously supposed to be after all that when they made up and they’re all happy. So Aura’s mother is named Winterberry. Fleece is her stepdad, Solstice is her stepbrother, and Snowbird and Flurry are her stepsisters.


I’m not planning to do like a full on sequel to Rudolf btw, this is just an idea I had for the characters. Also Aura’s eyes are red now to make it even more obvious that she’s albino
