Are those Sara's claws are coming out in that second to last panel?

I also didn't noticed it until now, but Alex's ears are different. Wolfish?

She is toying with shifting so she is flashing her claws a bit. Alex's ears aren't any different, just a bit of art being inconsistent, but he is bulked up a bit, though I want to tone it down a bit.
