LORE:
Tokageos are a mid-size desert creatures like maned wolves. They prey on smaller animals - mice, snakes, etc. "Third eye" provides an infrared vision, what helps stalking prey at night.
Drips of water can stay on their short coarse fur for a long time, it acts like oil and helps Tokageos to crawl into a small narrow holes. Paws with tiny dull claws and rough pawpads are adapted for digging sand.
These creatures are highly intellectual, they can talk and understand other animals and humans.
