Frissura was on walkabout (flyabout?) for quite a while before her life-altering encounter with the huge lovable guardian Nurth.
She had long chafed at her expected role as 'the good little princess'. She got into trouble with suitors, and committed un-royal acts of mischief. Since she was several spot down the line of succession, the day came when she was suddenly presented with a directive to go see the world and improve herself...
...with the understanding that she'd best depart immediately. And if she came back, it had better be for a darn good reason.
Beneath the wondrous lights on the chill mountainside, she thought about her lot in life. For others, she put on a strong face about the entire thing. But in that moment of solitude, she looked out over the stars, wondering if home lay behind her, beyond the horizon, or nowhere she would ever know.
