Back at it again with the creature designs, this time with a more mammalian flavor!
Behold! The Celestial Sphinx! These massive winged beasts are not normally encountered within the Mortal Realm. Typically, they can be encountered within a place known as the Celestial Realm; a vast expanse of sky and floating islands inhabited by creatures of the celestial and spiritual variety.
The Celestial Sphinx are known for their wisdom and vast knowledge, typically serving as temple guardians. They are devout worshipers and serve as agents to The Lord of Light.
In terms of ecology, within the Celestial Realm, they are equivalent to the dragons of the Mortal Realm, both in power and intelligence. They are very proud creatures and need to be approached with the utmost caution. An insulted Celestial Sphinx is not above smiting a disrespectful mortal.
Also, in regards to size comparisons, I've decided to feature an actual character I've made some time ago. From now on, one known as Milo Crann will serve as a living measuring stick to show how big the creatures I draw actually are (gonna make a full-sized drawing of him at some point in the future).
