1973. A series of murders plagued Tokyo with no signs of stopping. The police were stumped because the unknown offender left no traces at each crime-scene. Some began suspecting that the killings were done by an individual of an... inhuman nature. So an inhuman solution was needed. Straight from the instituted headed by Dr. Hajime Okamoto, a new addition to the police force had arrived. The first of it's kind, the Android Inspector 01, or Inspector A for short, had a lot of trouble fitting with the rest of the officers. However, the "Heart" AI he was fitted with allowed him to act like normal humans and relate them as well. That at times endeared him to his colleagues while also alienated him more from others. It was all so confusing for the android.
Still, he didn't have time for chit chat. A murderer was on the loos. Perhaps catching him might finally earn him the respect of his fellow officers.
