*Grins* Oh yes, I love the expression Niobe gave her. It just seems utterly perfect. Sometimes a girl just wants to comb her hair in peace, and all these people are staring at her! And yes, I really liked the loose strand of hair, too. It's just something that people seem to do, when they're brushing their hair, and it gives her a nice sense of peace and normality. At least until all these rude people interrupted her!

As for the spots on her legs, they're still a fairly new addition to her design. I think the first time she was drawn with them was in the first picture that Luthien Nightwolf did for me. So don't worry about it too much. I think you'd do an adorable job with them, but if you forget them, it's not a huge problem.

Ah, the perils of longer hair! I so feel her pain!

Judging by what you see in the picture, or rather, what you don't see, I think this could have been safe with a General marking... but yeh, it's always better to be safe than sorry, after all. I mean, she is still nude and all Mmm, although I definitely won't utter a single word in complaint about that... even when struggling with her hair, she looks absolutely adorable! In fact, she looks even more adorable because of the struggle with her hair; it gives her so much of a sense of realism. She is doing just that what we all at one time or another find ourselves going through in our lives, and that just makes her that much more real

Oh, me too. Back when I was in college, I had hair down to the small of my back, and it was always kind of a pain to keep it brushed. Especially since my hair has a tendency to curl around itself in a tight little spiral when it gets longer. Though this got me a fair amount of attention, and a little bit of envy, from some of the girls on campus, so I can't say I minded a bit!

I think it probably would have been okay with a General rating, too. Niobe gave it a G rating, and nobody said a word to her. I'm just overly cautious, I guess. Though, personally, I think a picture like this should only warrant a G rating even she wasn't censored down below. It's not as if she's doing anything remotely sexual, after all. Not that I'm complaining about the censoring at all. The important thing with this picture was to show her in an innocent, everyday sort of light for a change.

Aw, but thanks so much. I thought it was a cute little picture, myself. I really like the idea of having her drawn doing fairly ordinary things like this, from time to time, too. It does give her a bit more depth, and makes her seem more like a real person. That's something that I feel is fairly important, especially for a character who is meant to represent who I am.

I know what you mean! My own hair is pretty long again right now (I have always loved long hair, but usually I had to keep it short for convenience), and I do find myself getting some of the good old troubles backa gain; getting stuck on my pillow when I want to roll my head because my shoulders are pinning down my hair, getting an awful head of bed hair when I wake up, getting cramp in my arms from the weird reaching I have to do to brush it all...

Well, and there's nothing wrong with being careful. After all, like I said, it's always better to be safe than sorry. But even so, yes, with how this picture looks, it's very, very innocent. I mean, heck, we all look like that just after waking up in the morning, or at least those of us who sleep bare look like that in the morning

You're absolutely right, too. I find the same thing in my stories; those ordinary, domestic, regular everyday slice of life things are what gives a characte depth, and realism, because everyone can relate to it so well

Aww, well thank you very much. I'm sure that Niobe would be pleased to know that as well! She really does some cute things over on her gallery, especially with her own rabbit character.

Excellent character design and I love the swag of the tail. Lovely long hair to play/groom is also nice.

Thanks! I'm quite happy with her design, too. All these commissions I've been getting of Niamh have really helped me pin down exactly the way I want her to look, too, so I owe all of the artists who've drawn her a big debt of thanks for that. And long hair is wonderfully fun to play with, I agree. Mine used to be longer than Niamh's is, and I kind of miss it.
