Lay on your side with one arm and one leg resting on it. You'll know INSTANTLY when you've hit the right position. Hug it close, and you can even tuck you belly up on it just a little if that feels comfortable.
Right now when you lay down the baby is probably wondering why the heck it's getting squished, as is inevitably happening when you lie on your side or lay on your back. This helps suspend your belly a little so that the baby can get in it's own comfortable position.
alternatively, if sleeping on your side doesn't work well, fold it in half so it makes a wedge, and sleep on a slight incline, like you're sitting in a recliner that's fully reclined. This helps cradle your belly in your lap a little and gives a bit of support. Either way, it may take the baby a couple of days to get used to it. I would definitely try sleeping on your side first.
Oh, and heads up . . . when that belly gets REALLY heavy, go someplace where they have those tempurpedic beds and just sit for 10 minutes on one. It'll be the best gift you'll give youself your whole pregnancy. XD

This is way, way too cute!
My mother was worried when she was pregnant with me. Apparently, I didn't kick or move as much as others claimed babies did.
I'm guessing she found out how most babies move around when she was pregnant with my brother.
Excellent job on this! I wish you well!
