If that really ever did happen in a class of mine (not that I teach), I'd be all like *slaps and expells* not really :P but seriously the reasoning behind no IMs in class really should be common sense so if you get angry at students for doing it, it's not like they have any logical reason for getting angry.

Ya know, I'm one of these weird students, basically I would slack off way too much and go on IMs but I can see why they aren't allowed, and if one of lectures were having a go to me for it I would understand. XD I actually didn't scream/mutter in hate if Tony said turn off IM, because it was reasonable. >.>

Yet I still can't stop going on IMs. Always a slacker....oh well at least I'm not one of these silly students in my class, what a unreasonable bunch. X3

when I was in secondary school I liked Computer class because "it was more relaxing" XXD now I look back and I see why..the professor just gave us some small duty and then let us play with the PC's (lol)
